Tales of Berseria Cast Character design to 3D model to animation comparison and maybe a slight rant. Due to trying to find a style balance between the 4 designers, I feel like they all lost a bit of individuality in the conversion. Even with darker themes, an overuse of one color is never good design wise. I really do hope for one main designer per game again after this, because designs that balance each other and suit the world are an integral part of world building, which the series has lacked in recent titles. The inconsistency between original to 3D to anime is actually quite jarring as well… Skin tone is one of the most noticeable right off the bat.
